Mike Welter
Connecting Brands to People
My name is Mike Welter, and for nearly two decades, I’ve led creative from the garage to the global stage, building brands, campaigns, and experiences that move people and deliver real results.
I’m equal parts creative leader, brand builder, cultural observer, and guy who still gets way too excited when a ridiculous idea might actually work. I love finding the story hidden inside a product, turning customers into communities, and building brands people don’t just buy from, but genuinely want to be part of.
I can lead the strategy, rally the team, sell the vision, and present to the C-suite, then grab a camera, jump into Figma, direct the shoot, or get my hands dirty making the thing. I lead with service, not ego, and believe my job is to help talented people do the best work of their careers.
My mission is simple: Speak human. Create boldly. Think business. I believe the best work connects strategy and creativity without hiding behind buzzwords, bullshit, or a 97-slide deck nobody wants to sit through.
When I’m not building brands, I’m usually building something else. Renovating our house, upgrading my car, or chasing a questionable idea that requires three trips to the hardware store. I’m a motorsports fanatic, adventure seeker, tattoo & art enthusiast, and proud husband and pitbull dad. I love staying active, loud cars, clever ideas, smelling like a campfire for three days, and people who are really good at what they do without needing everyone in the room to know it.
I’ve always connected with a piece of advice from the great philosopher Ron Swanson: “Never half-ass two things. Whole-ass one thing.”
That pretty much sums me up. When something catches my attention, I go all in. I thrive with teams that move fast, give a damn, and aren’t afraid to make something nobody has seen before. If you’re building something ambitious and need someone who can see the bigger picture while still getting their hands dirty, we should probably talk.
Let's go!
